Summer means days swimming in and gazing at the ocean. I love the smell of salty air, the warm sand between my toes and the peacefulness that stems from watching the waves ebb and flow.
I first began making these seascapes during summer 2020, when all the beaches were closed due to the Covid pandemic.
During the waning days of summer, 2024, I began making new ones.
Each Cyanotype is a unique work on paper expressing different emotional ideas. Like all memories, they have their flaws but the process of creation is one of joy and sustenance.
